St Peter, Nowton, Suffolk
If you like stained glass especially continental roundels then this is the place to visit. The windows are fantastic and fill all the windows in the church. They have also been restored in recent years and remounted without intrusive metal grids which I seem to find in most churches. I think there are around 84 roundels in total all remounted in very colourful Victorian windows. Although not apparent from the above image the detail in most is superb.... see below for an example. When I visited the church had a detailed guide book which described many of the windows in detail.
St Peters is kept locked but there are keyholder details listed at the church. As the church is in quite an isolated position this does require a further drive of around a mile.
