St Helens, Gumley, Leicestershire
After the very wet spring the foliage around South Leicestershire is thicker and more lush than ever. The two photo a above were taken 6 months apart and show St Helen's church in Gumley as approached from the north via the public footpath. The bottom shot was taken a few days ago early in the morning and shows the new leaves on the tree and the thick grass which ash grown all around. Since the first image was taken St Helens has had a new roof on the chancel which should preserve it for a few more years.
